Congratulations to Cindy Costa and Glenn McCall, who were by acclimation re-elected as National Commiteewoman and National Committeeman, respectively, at yesterday’s State Convention.

“CALL TO CONVENTION”!

If you were elected as a State Delegate to the State Convention last year, you have received your “Call to Convention” by Chairman Chad Connelly. The convention will be held at the Orange Grove Elementary Charter School, 1255 Orange Branch Road, Charleston 29407 on Saturday April 21st at 10:00 AM.

Registration will open at 9:30 AM. Please be on time as registration will close as the convention will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. The Registration Fee is $10.00.

The purpose of this Convention is to elect National Delegates to the National Convention in August as well as elect a new set of officers to serve the 1st Convention over the next four years.

The National Convention will be held in Tampa, FL, August 27th – 30th. If you desire to be a delegate to the National Convention, please make sure your forms are returned to the address identified not later than Friday, April 13th.

The 1st Congressional District will be allocated  2 delegates and 2 alternates to the National Convention. The costs associated with attending the Convention are born by the delegate. Delegates are required to stay at the Hotel designated by the Convention which is 5 nights and delegates incur all transportation costs associated with their trip to and from the convention in Tampa.

Our 1st District Chairman is Dr. Mark Hartley and his co-chairman is Mr. Jim Davis. They are working hard to ensure a successful convention. 6th DISTRICT CONVENTION

Registration will open at noon and close promptly at 1 PM  Please be on time. Registration Fee: $15

The purpose of this Convention is to elect National Delegates to the National Convention in August as well as elect a new set of officers to serve the 1st Convention over the next four years.
